Kenting National Park

One of our Day 3 cycling trip sightseeing views was the Kenting National Park. It is a national park located in the Hengchun Peninsula of Pingtung County, Taiwan, covering Hengchun, Checheng, and Manzhou Townships. Established in 1984, it is Taiwan's oldest and southernmost national park, covering the southernmost area of the Taiwan Island along Bashi Channel. The landscape boasted by Kenting National Park is divided into two parts by the long and narrow Hengchun Longitudinal Valley Plain that extends from north to south. With coral sea cliffs teemed with fringing reefs along the west coast, the park features a large number of mountains in the north, and coral tablelands and foothills in the south.

Taiwan Southernmost Point is the southernmost point of Taiwan located in Kenting National Park, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County. We arrived Kenting National Park first via bicycle. Then we walked 500m to Southernmost Point with 10 minutes. We saw the monument of the southernmost point in Taiwan upon the reef. Facing the ocean, the Pacific Ocean is on our left and the Bashi Channel between Taiwan and Philippine is on your right. That is the great point in Taiwan to see the azure sea and scenic mountains. It is a chance to clean our mind as well as drop down all trouble affairs. We made a short sharing at Southernmost Point and celebrated all of us finished our 168km cycling challenge and stay safety.
