Tamsui is a well place which famous of Iron-hard Preserved Egg(鐵蛋) as well as Oily Bean Curd(阿給). It is located near the outlet of the Tamsui (Danshui) River into the Taiwan Strait. The "Lover's Bridge" in Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf, a single slanted tower cable stay pedestrian bridge, that is modeled after a sailing ship's mast and rigging, spans the harbor. The bridge is illuminated by different-colored lights at night, making this area a favorite with local couples and romantics, and a popular site for shooting Taiwanese serial dramas. Outdoor concerts are held in the amphitheater, and some of the restaurants feature occasional live music.

After that, we move to Tamsui Old Street and waterfront in which located along the Tamsui (Danshui) River, this pedestrian shopping area offers tourists a wide selection of restaurants, arcades, and stores specializing in traditional handicrafts. We can sample Tamsui's local specialties: Oily Bean Curd (crystal noodles stuffed in fried bean curd, served with a mild hot sauce), fish ball soup, and “Iron-hard Preserved Egg “(eggs which have been stewed in a mix of herbs and spices until pickled). The area is located right outside the north side of the MRT Danshui Station and stretches north to the ferry docks. It is unforgettable to try the food vendors which are located up and down the strip. Overall, Tamsui has become a favorite destination for city dwellers to take a stroll and enjoy a coffee along the riverside.

This is very popular and cheap to rent bikes to travel there and we do so. For our cycling routine, we rode to Bali with wonderful view first. Then we had lunch there and try local delicious meal. After that we ride to Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf and visit the "Lover's Bridge". Finally, we rode back and returned our renting bicycles. We visited Tamsui Old Street until night and went back to hotel.
