Summary
Boot camp five is organized by the ABAA Student Representative Committee. The activity enhances the relationship among peers and provides great opportunity for us to cultivate determination and perseverance through cycling. The experience of the trip will be an important element to be successful in the future path. We had 21 participants in the trip this year. All of the participants were Organizing Committee. As we were the organizing committee of the tour, the schedule of the whole trip was designed by ourselves with our teacher assisted. Therefore, we took responsibilities for ourselves. Boot camp five was a trip of six days and five nights. The trip was travelling to Taiwan, including Tainan and Taipei. For the trip, the cycling routes of the trip started from Kaohsiung to Kenting which went through Donggang in Tainan and also cycling in Tamsui, Taipei. The total distance what we cycled was around 210 km in three days. The remaining days in Taiwan were for us to experience the Taiwan culture. The trip provided us a chance to visit National University of Kaohsiung and had a lunch meeting with their local students who are studying Law or Business. Also, the trip arranged participants to visit two “national” places, one is Kenting National Park, and another one is the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. This tour was tough but fruitful and memorable. The experience what the trip gave us will affect our mindset in the rest of our lives.
